Ukraine has long been an active player in the Internet space, and the registration of Ukrainian domains continues to gain momentum. 2023 is no exception and shows some interesting statistics regarding the dynamics of registration and trends in this area. Let's consider today what changes and innovations can be highlighted in the world of Ukrainian .UA domains based on the results of the third quarter of this year from the company "Hostmaster".
Ukrainian domain .UA
According to its results, there are 610,728 domains on page seo service in the .UA domain, of which 26,891 are second-level domains. Compared to the second quarter data, this figure has decreased slightly - by 0.33%. However, this figure is insignificant, and it can be argued that the obtained figures reflect a fairly stable and fruitful development of the Ukrainian Internet space.
The Hostmaster company also determined that both second-level domains (if there is a corresponding trademark) and third-level domains are registered in the .UA zone. In total, 64 public domains are available: 58 geographic, 3 general-purpose and 4 special domains.
Also during the third quarter, 185 new domains were registered daily, which exceeds the figures of the previous quarter (150 new domains daily) and even the second quarter, when 182 new domains were registered per day.
The percentage of domain renewals compared to the second quarter of 2023 remained almost unchanged, with the exception of the com.ua domain, where it was slightly reduced, but overall it remained at the level of the corresponding period of 2021.
